Khumoyun Begmuratov is an Uzbekistani chess player.

Chess career

In April 2017, Begmuratov won the silver medal in the Under-8 category of the Asian Youth Chess Championship.[2]

In December 2022, Begmuratov competed in the World Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships. In the Rapid championship, he achieved wins against Elijah Everett, Aziz Degenbaev, and Ernur Amangeldy. In the Blitz championship, he managed to defeat GM Vladimir Burmakin, and held Nderim Saraçi to a draw in a clever endgame swindle.[3]

In August 2023, he played for Uzbekistan in the FIDE World Youth U16 Olympiad.[4]
